With plenty of time between when a fight is announced and when the boxers actually step in the ring, fight fans can monitor the boxing betting lines and how the early money is impacting the prices before getting in their wager. Often times, large favorites draw the money of bigger, sharper bettors while the average public bettor likes to back the underdog with the promise of a big payout.

Round props have also become a popular wagering option for boxing bettors. Oddsmakers will set an Over/Under on the number of rounds the fight will last and bettors must decide if the fight will go more or less than that expected distance. They can also find odds on method of victory for each fighter, as well as in which round the fight will finish.
